Florida's Unchecked Growth

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has posted an article on their web site (www.myfwc.com) about continuing, unchecked development in Florida out to the year 2060 and its impact on our wildlife. The August 14, 2008 article is based on a study titled "Florida 2060" by 1000 Friends of Florida (1000friendsofflorida.org), a non-profit group that monitors Florida's development.
